Superstar rapper has a “real connection” to the UK, says Island president of urban Alex Boateng

Alex Boateng, Island Records president of urban, has hailed Drake as the “biggest artist in the world” as huge streaming figures powered the Canadian superstar’s Scorpion album to No.1.

Three of its tracks made the Top 5, though seven more would have made the Top 20 but for the cap introduced by the Official Charts Company last year.
