Social and interactive 'listening room' music service Soundrop has launched as a global web app in beta.

The new version lets users tap into existing listening rooms based on artists, genres and moods.

Via its partnership with Spotify - the streaming service's move to the web is used as a way of building out part of the audio component, and synchronising those tracks with videos from YouTube.
