In truth, Alex Gaskarth still finds it a bit hard to fathom that he’s in Simple Creatures. This, folks, has everything to do with the fact that said band – one of the most exciting new rock acts to emerge in 2019 – is an act he co-founded with Blink-182’s bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus. You could call it a dream come true, but that would probably be under-egging that particular pudding.
