Main purpose of job:

To be an integral part of the Marketing and Digital team responsible for capturing marketing and promo information across artist campaigns in a coordinated way to drive more effective execution and strategy of future activities. As a key member of the Marketing, you will be liaising with marketing, digital and promotions label teams to deliver sales, insights, and reporting across FAE’s label and management roster.

Key duties will consist of:

  • Work across artist campaigns to capture marketing information (marketing, media, PR, promo, live dates, etc.) in a coordinated way.
  • Overlay key marketing activity & spend with consumption data to measure, analyse and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Work closely with finance and IT to understand the key drivers of sales and streams to influence future marketing choices.
  • Monitor artist growth and performance across KPIs on a daily/weekly basis and provide reports for the label teams.
  • Work closely with the Digital, Marketing and Promotions label teams to optimise campaigns and understanding of spend/costs of marketing activities.
  • Identify and pull out key findings and repackage the results of the analysis into reports that can be understood by others within the business.
  • Liaising with our Media Agency and Digital Media Agencies to capture and analyse their data.
  • Provide analysis and correlations of historic data and relevant marketplace comparisons.
  • Monitoring and forecast audience growth across our artists.
  • Monitor social uplift on key promotional channels.

Person specification – essential 

  • Highly numerate, with a degree in a relevant subject (Statistics, Maths, Economics, Computer Science, Business)
  • A background within an analytics role is essential.
  • Strong Excel Skills (advanced formulas & pivot table experience)
  • Experience in a similar role agency/media side is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Powerpoint and presenting skills
  • Self-starter
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Skilled in developing and evolving process and best practice.
  • Ability to identify and justify team priorities and to measure resource, time required versus commercial reward.
  • A strong interest in the music industry, artist campaigns and music consumers is essential.

Has an understanding of Neilsen, OCC charts, Campaign Amp, all the social analytics (FB, IG, Twitter), Spotify/Apple insights, and similar programs/reporting tools.
