Senior Membership Development Manager – Wales

Salary c. £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are a society of songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform or make available copyright music on behalf of our members and overseas societies, and distribute the resulting royalties to them fairly and efficiently. We promote and protect the value of copyright.

This role will be responsible for all aspects of our membership development strategy in Wales ensuring effective relationship management with key members and their representatives. This is a key, high profile appointment, which requires the ability to work effectively with politicians, solicitors and key legislators in Wales.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate sensitivity to the political issues that our organisation faces in Wales and the wider music industry. You will need to be well connected with key contacts across the UK music industry and be a proven relationship manager who can deliver a tailor made service to key members.

You will be responsible for building and strengthening links between our organisation and Welsh member groups, influencing decision makers and raising the profile of PRS for Music. In order to achieve this you will be expected to deliver a programme of events including training and public speaking to our members, their representatives and the Welsh music community. In this respect a Welsh language speaker is preferred.

As the role is Wales based, it requires an individual who has the personal drive to work independently, whilst reporting back to the Head of Membership Development and wider organisation on industry developments and membership acquisition targets.

If you are interested in joining us in this pivotal role you should apply by sending your CV and covering letter to recruitment@prsformusic.com or by clicking 'Apply Now' below.

At PRS for Music we recognise, welcome and value diversity and are committed to creating a workplace where all employees are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, feel valued and work together effectively to achieve our goals.
