Chemical Brothers revealed as first All Points East 2019 headliner

The Chemical Brothers will headline the first night of All Points East 2019.

Joining the duo on the first Friday of the 10-day event, set for May 24 to June 2, will be Hot Chip, Primal Scream, Little Dragon, Spiritualized, Danny Brown, Little Simz and Ibibio Sound Machine. Tickets go on general sale this Friday at 9am.

The AEG-promoted festival is returning to East London's Victoria Park next year following its acclaimed 2018 debut, which saw headline shows from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National, LCD Soundsystem, Bjork, The xx and Catfish And The Bottlemen across two weekends, backed by stellar supporting bills.

“We are thrilled to be returning to Victoria Park for a second year with an artist bill as exciting as our first year," said AEG Presents EVP, live music, Jim King. "We’re expanding our programme of free midweek entertainment and again working alongside some of the best local suppliers to produce an incredible ten days of entertainment with something for everyone.”

Featuring free access to the All Points East site, the In The Neighbourhood community-focused event will also return with a midweek programme of activities and entertainment, in collaboration with the local community, businesses, organisations and suppliers. Attractions will include outdoor cinema, live music and entertainment, street food, pop-up bars, theatre, arts, sports & wellbeing and children's activities.
