Elton John hits out at 'disgraceful' secondary ticketing market

Elton John has branded resale sites "disgraceful" for selling tickets to his 2016 UK tour at inflated prices.

Tickets for the concerts are being sold for up to five times face value on some secondary sites, even though the shows have yet to sell out.

The singer told the BBC: "I'd rather have empty seats. I think it's extortionate and I think it's disgraceful.”
