Sheffield Arena to be operated by in-house management team
Sheffield Arena is to be run by in-house management company Sheffield International Venues (SIV), replacing Live Nation in a cost-cutting move.
Live Nation has operated the 13,000-capacity venue for a number of years on behalf of SIV, which already manages venues such as Sheffield City Hall and Scarborough Spa.
"We have had an excellent relationship with Live Nation. They have been a top class management organisation for the venue, delivering a great programme of events,” said SIV CEO Steve Brailey.
