Radio 1's Ben Cooper reveals big plans for the Biggest Weekend

Ben Cooper, controller, Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network, has told Music Week the line-up for the Biggest Weekend shows “the power of the relationship between the music industry and the BBC”.

BBC Music’s one-off event from May 25-28 is partly designed to fill the gap in the festival calendar caused by Glastonbury’s fallow year.
