'We want the show to be big': Radio 1's Greg James on the battle for Breakfast ratings
BBC Radio 1’s new Breakfast Show presenter Greg James has told Music Week he feels “very connected to the music industry” as he prepares to help break artists.
“I have always wanted to do it, it’s always been in my sights,” James said of the show, which he took over from Nick Grimshaw.
Following the positive reaction to his first week on air, the presenter said he “couldn’t be happier – we are having the time of our lives.”
