140 HMV stores set to be rescued in £50m Hilco deal - Fopp saved too

Hilco UK is set to officially swoop for HMV later today in a £50m deal that will save 140 stores.

As previously reported, the deal will save around 2,500 jobs across the country at the retailer. An official announcement is due soon.

HMV outlets, including stores in Edinburgh, Leamington, Nuneaton and Newport, that were originally set to be closed, will now remain in operation.
