'Playlists will be the new albums' - Ergatoudis

BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra boss George Ergatoudis has said that albums are 'edging closer to extinction' and predicted that streaming services and playlists are the future.

The exec made the comments on Twitter and has since clarified his stance in an interview with BBC Newsbeat.
