Amazon Prime Music launches in the US

Amazon’s music streaming service, Prime Music, has now launched in the US.

Available to users with Prime memberships, the service was slated to launch in either June or July by Buzzfeed last month.

As previously reported, new releases are absent from the service. Music from Universal Music and other labels is also missing - the status of a deal with the major was said to be unknown earlier this month.
