Anna Calvi wins Euro Border Breaker gong
Friday, Oct 7th 2011 at 11:39AMCalvi joins a list of winners that includes Sweden's Swedish House Mafia, Ireland's James Vincent McMorrow and Romania's Alexandra Stan.
Winners are selected by Nielsen Music Control on the basis of record sales and broadcast frequency across Europe and according to votes by European Broadcasting Union radio stations and festivals participating in the European Talent Exchange Program.
The acts will receive their awards in a televised ceremony hosted by Jools Holland at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen on January 11 2012.
