Apple denies Beats Music shutdown, plans to modify - report
Apple has denied that it is discontinuing the recently acquired Beats Music, as originally reported, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the subscription streaming service is safe.
TechCrunch originally reported that five sources, including prominent employees at both Apple and Beats, had confirmed that Apple was planning to shut down Beats Music. Although a date for the end of the service was not hinted at, many engineers from Beats Music have already been moved onto iTunes and other Apple projects.
