BASCA chairmain Simon Darlow has slammed companies exploiting safe harbour legislation in his Ivor Novello Awards speech at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London today.
Darlow stated that streaming, although one of the dominant means of listening to music in 2015, hasn't proven that it can create a viable income for future generations of creators, which he said is largely because of companies that are exploiting safe harbour legislation.
