Beatport has confirmed that label supplier payments will be processed this week.

The EDM digital retailer said that it “deeply regrets” any hardship caused by delayed payments “especially [for] independent labels and artists, who are the lifeblood of electronic music”.

Beatport also said that majors – which were paid before independents, it was revealed last week – did not get preferential treatment.
