Beggars Group records £3.8m profit in 2014

Beggars Group made a net profit of £3.8 million in 2014 on revenues of £42m, according to accounts filed with Companies House.

The company put out 44 releases during the year, compared with 40 releases in 2013 when it recorded a £4m profit from £52.9m revenues.

“In 2014 the global music market has seen a huge growth in streaming at the expense of physical sales, and to some extent, downloads,” said a statement from the company.
