Berklee College of Music releases report highlighting problems in the industry

The Berklee College of Music has released a 29-page report titled, Fair Music: Transparency And Money Flows In The Music Industry, which analyses all the different facets of the music industry, from performing rights organisations to publishing companies.

The report, led by Allen Bargfrede, suggests that the music industry has failed to adapt to new technology, and has therefore failed artists and managers in regards to the way in which royalties are tracked, reported and distributed.
