Count Of Ten commercial director Alex Dixon has called for a code of practice to be introduced for RFID cashless payments at festivals.
Dixon, whose group is behind events such as Y Not Festival, Hevy Fest, Tramlines and Brownstock Festival, raised the issue at Thursday’s UK Festival Awards’ Conference, held at the Roundhouse in Camden.
The opening session, Cashless Rules Everything Around Us, saw a panel of festival organisers evaluate their experiences with cashless systems.
