The Board of Directors of Washington-based advocacy and educational organisation Copyright Alliance has appointed Keith Kupferschmid as its CEO, effective October 1, 2015. Kupferschmid joins from the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), where he was SVP, intellectual property and general counsel. In a statement, the Copyright Alliance says Kupferschmid "brings over two decades of experience in copyright law and policy."
