Creative industries urge Government to rethink EBacc plans

The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) has re-launched its Bacc For The Future campaign following the Department for Education’s announcement of plans to introduce a compulsory list of subjects at GCSE level.

The English Baccalaureate or EBacc was originally a league table which ranked schools by pupil attainment in a narrow range of subjects (maths, English, sciences, languages and history of geography).
