Duncan Bannatyne to launch boy band through label venture

Bannatyne Music, a newly-named record label part-owned by business entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, is releasing its first material this spring from boy band signings Reconnected.

The label originally came to Bannatyne’s attention through the Dragons Den TV programme as RKA Records in 2010 when Ryan Ashmore brought it to the panel. Ashmore has since sold his share and is now an artist manager and part-time A&R consultant for the label.
