Global music revenue grew 3.2% in 2015 - report

Digital became the primary revenue stream for recorded music in 2015, overtaking sales of physical formats for the first time, according to the IFPI’s Global Music Report 2016.

Digital revenues now account for 45% of total music industry revenues, compared to 39% for physical sales.
