Google's fastest-growing revenue segment driven by Play store
Google’s fastest growing business segment, described as “Other Revenue,” saw a half-billion dollar year-over-year revenue increase, driven mostly by Google Play store sales.
The news was reported in the company’s second-quarter earnings call, where it was also revealed that chief business officer Nikesh Arora will step down from his position to become vice chairman of SoftBank Corp. and CEO of its internet and media division.
