The editor of The Sun's Bizarre column, Gordon Smart, is leaving the paper to become editor of its Scottish sister title.

Smart, 33, has been with The Sun since 2003, gaining a reputation for major showbiz scoops - and for offering prominent backing to music acts in his pages.
