Hadopi law sees 'clear decline' in illegal downloads in France, according to progress report

The Hadopi law - named after the acronym of the government agency created to administer it - sees a graduated response used to encourage compliance with copyright laws in the country.

First, second and third notices have been given to copyright infringers before further action is taken, since the law kicked into action in 2010.
