Imagem Music has signed Mark Ronson to a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement.
In addition to his own work, Ronson is well-known for collaborations and has worked with artists such as Adele, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera, Rufus Wainwright, Duran Duran, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams and more.
He first burst onto the scene as an artist with album Here Comes The Fuzz, which included collaborations with the likes of Jack White, Rivers Cuomo, Mos Def, Sean Paul and more.
Some of Ronson’s most notable work was with Amy Winehouse. He co-wrote her single Back to Black and produced hits Rehab, You Know I’m No Good and more. The Back To Black album that went on to sell over 2.6 million copies in the US alone and is the second best selling album of the 21st century in the UK with 12.6 million. With the album, he went on to win three Grammy’s – Producer of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Continuing with his own work, in 2007 Ronson released his second album, Version, which featured collaborations with Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, as well as Robbie Williams, Santigold, Phantom Planet and more. The album sold over 800,000 in the UK.
This was followed in 2010 with single Bang Bang Bang, his fourth top ten single in the UK – taken from the No.2 album Record Collection.
Most recently, Ronson was tapped by Coca-Cola’s promotional campaign for the 2012 Summer Olympics for which he teamed up with Katy B, for the single Anywhere in the World.
