John Lewis Xmas ad to be soundtracked by Lily Allen, say industry sources
Lily Allen looks set to be the musical star of this year's John Lewis Christmas TV commercial, industry insiders have told Music Week.
It is understood that Allen - married name Lily Cooper - is likely to have recorded a cover of Keane's 2004 single Somewhere Only We Know for the ad, although other alternatives have been considered. Universal is the publisher of the song.
