Lady Gaga has partnered with O2 to offer the mobile network’s customers the chance to buy tickets for her UK tour three days before general release.
The deal will see the Lady Gaga appear in a new O2-curated TV ad, as part of a major campaign to promote the UK leg of artRave: The ARTPOP Ball World Tour.
It’s not the first time the pop star has worked with O2. In November, an O2 Tracks and 4G partnership gave customers exclusive access to the pop star’s latest album ARTPOP, six days ahead of its UK release.
“The ambition for Priority has always been to give our customers access to the music and artists they love,” said Nina Bibby, marketing and consumer director at O2. “Lady Gaga is one of the world’s most dynamic and innovative artists and we’re proud to be giving customers early access to tickets for what is certain to be one of 2014’s most exciting tours.”
The UK tour begins on October 15 in Birmingham, before arriving in Glasgow on October 19. This will be followed by one night in Manchester on October 21 and then London at The O2 on October 23.
O2 customers can get tickets from 9am Wednesday, February 5 by texting ‘GAGA’ to 2020 or visiting o2priority.co.uk/ladygaga. Tickets go on sale to the general public from 9am on Saturday, February 8.
