Live Nation has acquired a controlling interest in South Africa’s leading promoter, Big Concerts.

Big Concerts, which has promoted shows by acts such as U2, Michael Jackson, Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Coldplay, Eagles, Kings of Leon and Elton John, will continue to be led by Attie van Wyk as chairman and Justin van Wyk as CEO.
