M.I.A. splits with Roc Nation management
M.I.A. has split from Roc Nation management.
The rapper announced the news via Twitter on Tuesday, December 31, tweeting; “im leaving @RocNation . Thank to everyone who supported the M.I.A #MATANGI LP. HAPPY NEW YEAR | 2014”.
Since signing with Roc Nation in May 2012, the working relationship hasn’t appeared to be smooth and early last year a teaser to a Steve Loveridge-directed documentary on M.I.A. kicked off a public spat.
