MAMA re-launches Liverpool Barfly as East Village Arts Club

MAMA Groups’ Liverpool Barfly is re-opening as East Village Arts Club on April 19 after undergoing a £1.5m makeover.

The venue has been empty since shutting its doors over a year ago when the previous owners decided it was no longer financially viable to stay open.

Though it was the Barfly for years, it was taken over by local bar owners in May 2009 and transformed into The Masque Nightclub and music venue.

MAMA announced it’s re-branding on April 1.
