Mercury Prize shortlist announced
The 12 finalists for this year’s Barclaycard Mercury Prize have been revealed with Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie and Laura Mvula all in the running.
The shortlist was chosen from an entry of over 220 albums and announced by Lauren Laverne at The Hospital Club in London’s Covent Garden.
