MU opposes Camden's 'draconian' measures against busking

The Musicians’ Union has expressed its disappointment over Camden Council’s decision introduce punitive measures against buskers despite “vocal opposition” from the organisation itself.

The measures, which will require buskers to pay for licences in order to play or risk large fines or the confiscation of their instruments, were voted through at a council hearing with a 26 to 17 majority.
