MySpace hosting Merlin members' tracks without license

Recently relaunched MySpace is under fire from global rights agency Merlin after the platform has been found hosting for members’ songs following an expired license between the two parties.

New York Times reports that Charles Caldas, chief executive of Merlin which represents independent labels, says MySpace no longer has permission to host songs from their members as their deal expired over a year ago.
