British producer Naughty Boy is set to release his debut single on September 30.
Titled Wonder, the track features Emeli Sandé and comes from Naughty Boy’s debut album Hotel Cabana, out early next year.
Over four years Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Kahn, has developed his career from a tiny shed in Watford to crafting compositions for everyone from Wiley and Professor Green to Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis, Tinie Tempah and Emeli Sandé.
Wonder’s video was directed by Nadia Otzen and the album itself is to feature an array of urban and pop superstars, most of whom have yet to be revealed, each playing a character in a film-like narrative.
Naughty has said of the album: “I want it to be an album for our time; it has a concept to it, so it’s more like a film in some respects. I view it like I’m not just a producer – I’m a director too”.
