Following noise complaints by a nearby Manchester resident earlier this year, Night And Day Café has been served with a noise abatement notice. Manchester City Council is also reviewing the venue’s licence and will decide whether or not to revoke it on September 4.
Speaking to the BBC, the complainant – who has been advised to remain anonymous following death threats – called his situation over the last nine months “a living nightmare”.
