Peer signs deal with Taylor Thrash

PeerMusic has signed an exclusive songwriter and co-publishing agreement with recording artist and songwriter Taylor Thrash.

The agreement is a joint venture between producer Mark Needham (The Killers, Neon Trees, Iglu & Hartley) and Peer with announcement being made by Sam Kling, Peer VP A&R.

Said Kling, “I’m thrilled to welcome Taylor to the PeerMusic family and I’m very excited about his potential. He is full of surprises and his future is bright.”

Added Thrash: “I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great independent company like peer. Huge thanks to Sam Kling, Mark Needham,and Andrew Brightman for believing in me I'm focused on writing great songs and putting out great records. Having a strong support team behind my songs is something I've worked hard to achieve, and am grateful to finally have that in peer.”

Thrash is a singer/songwriter from Dallas, Texas, who recently released his first EP. He has shared the stage with All Time Low, The Ready Set, Skrillex, Travie McCoy, Forever The Sickest Kids, Shwayze, The Scene Aesthetic, The Secret Handshake, Set Your Goals, I See Stars, This Providence, and many more.

His first single, What's Her Face, was played in every Hollister Co. store throughout the Summer of 2011.

His new CD, Step Forward will be coming out in the US on Space Camper Records/Silverside through IODA distribution on August 21st, and was produced by John Roberts and mixed by Mark Needham.

As a songwriter Taylor has written/is currently writing songs with Cady Groves (RCA) , Plug In Stereo (Atlantic) , Jarvis Anderson from Iglu and Hartley , Tanner Patrick , Forever the Sickest Kids, Geoff Rockwell (Peer) , Richard Harris (Peer), Beluga Heights and many others scheduled in the next few months.
