HMRC is ‘cracking down’ on unpaid internships within the music industry, targeting major labels ahead of the BRIT Awards.
35 warning letters have been sent out asking companies to ensure they aren’t employing any workers without paying national minimum wage, with visits to offices expected later in the year.
