Raphael 'overwhelmed' by Sam Smith's Grammy success
Capitol Records UK boss Nick Raphael has described Sam Smith's haul of four Grammy's in his debut year as "historic".
Speaking to Music Week from Los Angeles as the curtain came down on an incredible night for the British star and his team, Raphael said: "Jo [Charrington, Capitol UK SVP of A&R] and I are overwhelmed. This is a historic night for Sam and for Capitol UK. First British artist to win four Grammys on his debut!"
