Music streaming revenue is set to overtake that of downloads on mobile devices, and rise by 40% this year, according to a new study.
Juniper Research suggests that music streaming revenue on mobile will amount to $1.7bn (£1.1bn) in 2013.
Mobile marketing notes that the rise in this area is boosted by the number of partnerships between service providers and mobile operators and that leading markets for mobile music streaming are South Korea and the US.
