Revised secondary ticketing laws passed by MPs

The House of Commons has backed revised legislation to regulate secondary ticketing sellers more closely. 

The amendment to the Consumer Rights Bill, passed in the House of Lords last month and supported by MPs in the Commons yesterday, marked a U-turn on the Government's position.

It requires resellers on sites such as Viagogo, GetMeIn, Seatwave and StubHub to provide details such as the face value of the ticket, the seat number and any applicable restrictions. A compromise agreement was reached ...
