Emeli Sande, Plan B and Alt-J have picked up two nominations each at this year's Ivor Novello Awards with Jake Bugg, Coldplay and Olly Murs also among the shortlist.

Sande's appearances in the nominations announced on Wednesday both come courtesy of Next To Me, written by the Sony/ATV/EMI signing with Hugo Chegwin and Harry Craze (Craze & Hoax) and Anup Paul. It is up for Best Song Musically & Lyrically and for PRS for Music Most Performed Work.
