Sirius XM partners with YouTube for new show

Sirius XM has partnered with YouTube to create a weekly radio programme called The YouTube 15.

The satellite radio provider has more than 26 million subscribers in the US alone, with YouTube currently boasting over 1 billion visitors each month.

The show will be broadcast on Sirius XM's Hits 1 channel and will feature 15 songs from recognised and unsigned artists.

Curated by a team from Sirius XM, the playlist will be based on YouTube views and the growth rate of views.

Debuting on July 11, The YouTube 15 will be hosted by Jenna Marbles, a YouTube star boasting over 13 million subscribers and 1.5 billion views.
