Sony/ATV has stuck a new agreement with BMI in the US to handle licensing and royalty distribution.
The move follows the publisher having with effect from January 1 2013 withdrawn digital rights from the organisation, only for a BMI rate court judge later to rule that publishers removing digital rights had withdrawn totally from BMI.
