Spotify could be moving towards more of a gated business model soon, with premium content being made available for paying subscribers only.
That is according to a report by Digital Music News, after its sources revelead that Spotify would soon be restricting access to some content for ad-supported users.
Said one source: “[Spotify] want the free users to feel like they’re missing something, not just forced to listen to ads."
