Arvato has cleared its fulfillment backlog with all affected orders having now been shipped to customers.

The UK’s leading physical distributor suffered serious delays in stock delivery at the beginning of the month, leaving music retailers under threat of losing vital Christmas takings.

Arvato apologised for the delays, some of which were lasting up to a week, while the Entertainment Retailers Association called the situation a “disaster for labels, artists and fans”.
