Strokes take poll position on albums chart

Their debut, Is This It, sold 48,393 copies on its first week in the shops in September 2001 but was denied top place by Slipknot's Iowa, while follow-up Rooms On Fire managed to sell 76,038 copies on its first frame in November 2003, ...
