The xx have this afternoon announced details of three UK live dates via their Facebook page.
The band said: “Hi from LA! We have been on the road for the past months, playing cities and festivals around the world. On September 10th we release our new album and we couldn't be happier to spend that week in the UK, playing some very intimate shows at 3 beautiful venues.”
The band will play London’s Shepherd's Bush Empire, Cardiff Coal Exchange and Usher Hall in Edinburgh. The full dates are:
Monday Sept 10th London - Shepherd's Bush Empire
Tuesday Sept 11th Cardiff - Coal Exchange
Wednesday Sept 12th Edinburgh - Usher Hall
Tickets for the shows will go on pre-sale at 9am on Wednesday (25th July), and general sale 9am Friday (27th July).
The xx’s forthcoming second album ‘Coexist’ will be available on CD, LP, deluxe LP and download and can be pre-ordered now.
